  1.                                                     ABOUT HISTOG

  3. Histog is a neat little freeware histogram generation program that is simple to use
  4. and has numerous extra features.  Histograms, you may remember, allow you to
  5. examine how data is distributed.  For example: the employee age distribution at
  6. Schwartz Industries or the frequency that the MegaBucks lottery numbers hits. In
  7. addition, Histog allows you to “bend” data to make corrections or modifications.
  8. Once you've used Histog, you'll find many business, personal and educational uses
  9. for it.

  11. You can use spreadsheet programs to do histograms also but the procedure is
  12. involved and slow.  Writing a macro to automate the spreadsheet programs is
  13. beyond the scope of the average user.  Statistical programs cost a fortune and can
  14. be very confusing since they do so much.  Histog concentrates on histograms and it
  15. costs nothing.  Such a deal!

  17. My freeware terms are simple.  Try out Histogram for 60 days.  If you like it,
  18. send a postcard to name and address below.  Let me know if it has helped you.  If
  19. you don't have time to try it now, hang on to it.  If it becomes useful later, you can
  20. send the postcard then.  I use it everyday and couldn't live without it...but then I'm
  21. biased.

  23. Histog may not be offered for sale.  I have no objection, however, to computer
  24. stores giving a copy away to customers.  Please just keep all the files together.

  26. You may distribute unlimited copies of Histog to friends just so long as you keep all
  27. of the files together.  You may not modify Histog resources in any way that alters
  28. the intended use or the author credits.  That would be rude.
